Besides these, he held various positions like President of Indo-Bulgarian Friendship Association, Secretary of Indo-China Friendship Association. Justice of Peace in Maharashtra and was President/Chairman of many trade & industry organisations in the oilseeds & oil sector (Indian Oilseeds & Produce Exporters Association etc). He was one of the few privileged Indian businessmen to be party to the inter- governmental bilateral trade agreements with all Eastern Bloc countries.
KISHORE TANNA - MANAGING DIRECTOR: Apart from overall responsibility of JMIL, primarily looks after the oilseeds and oils division of the JM Group. He is also : Director - Gem Nuts and Produce Exports Co. Pvt. Ltd Director - Agros Exports Ltd Director - Jamnadas Agro Ltd Director - Daikaffil Chemicals India Limited Director - Jhara Finance Pvt. Ltd Member of Executive Committee - Indian Oilseeds & Produce Exporters Association Member of Managing Committee - Groundnut Extraction Export Development Association Member of Managing Committee of Indian Merchants Chamber Hon. Secretary, Indian Vegetable Oil Export Association Hon. Secretary of public trusts engaged in oilseeds agricultural development, scientific research and export promotion. He was Chairman of Indian Oilseed and Produce Exporters Association; Member, International Business Relations Committee and Business policy Committee of the Indian Merchants Chamber and Member, Executive Committee of the Central Organisation for Oil Industry and trade. He was in-charge of the London branch of the Company for 15 years.
